Brewster in Bloom celebrates its 33rd year in 2019. The event features an arts and crafts fair, a parade, an antique store and art gallery tour, a spring concert by the Brewster Band, a 5K run, a kids fest and more.
Please note, the dates, times and details for the event this year have not been updated by the Chamber of Commerce. We will update our descriptions once we have more information.
The 8th annual Arts & Antiques Excursion runs Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to closing. There will be special offers and events throughout the weekend at different stores all over town.
The Brewster Band Concert begins at 7 p.m. on Friday at Brewster Baptist Church. Donations are requested but not required for admission.
The Brewster in Bloom Juried Arts & Crafts Show opens on Saturday at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. The show returns on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Cape Cod Sea Camps is the site for the show. This event has featured more than 90 vendors in previous years.
The 5K Run is sponsored by Cape Cod Five. It begins on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Brewster Inn & Chowder House at 1993 Main Street. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. You can also sign up online at the recreation web site.
Kids Fest opens on Saturday at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. It is held at two locations in town.
- The Laurel School, at 1436 Long Pond Road or Route 137, will host an event featuring vendor and kid’s events. You’ll find live music, a color run, an American Red Cross blood drive, Irish Dance and more. Admission is free and there’s plenty of parking. Call 508-895-4934 or visit them online.
- Drummer Boy Park, at 773 Main Street, will be the site for a variety of events. The event features a food vendor, dancing, a bounce house, a golf ball drop, and informational booths.
The Brewster in Bloom Parade steps off at 1 p.m. from Eddy Elementary School. The parade continues on to Main Street to Swamp Road. The theme for this year has not been announced yet.
The Kinlin Grover Charity Yard Sale opens on Saturday and continues on Sunday with any leftover merchandise and huge bargains on the remainders. The proceeds from this event go to support local charities.
