The Halloween Family Fest opens at 5:00 pm on October 28, 2017, at the Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich, Massachusetts. The event runs until 9:00 pm. Here is some more information on the event from the museum.

Heritage Museums & Gardens is the place to be for Halloween fun in our community! We are proud to partner with the Sandwich Public Schools, and the Sandwich Public Library to offer this family-friendly event that will provide sweet memories for all ages.

There will be lots of Halloween-themed activities throughout the evening, including:

  • A costume parade
  • A dance party hosted by DJ Ooch
  • A photo op in a 1913 Model T Ford
  • Performances of Thriller by Sandwich Soul, Sandwich High School’s award-winning show choir
  • A tractor-pulled hayride
  • Creating a craft and exploring Hidden Hollow, specially lit for Halloween
  • Rides on a vintage carousel
  • Opportunity to enjoy gardens and museum collections of art, artifacts, and automobiles
  • And more!

Visitors can also support Sandwich’s community partners by participating in these special ticketed activities (special community activity tickets are cash only):

  • Carnival-style games and face painting in the Special Exhibitions Gallery led by the STEM/Sandwich High School PTSA
  • A Cake Walk led by the STEM/Sandwich High School PTSA to benefit Sandwich Soul’s (Sandwich High School’s show choir) national competition fundraiser

Halloween-themed drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the Magnolia Café. Come in costume and be part of the fun! We suggest comfortable shoes to walk to all the activities.

The Halloween Family Festival is sponsored by Arbella Insurance Foundation.

Fee: $5; family maximum of $25; children 2 and under are admitted free.
