The Harwich Farmers Market opens around the middle of June every year and continues through the middle of October. The hours of the market are 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The market is set up on the grounds of the Brooks Academy Museum at the corner of Parallel Street and Sisson Road (Route 39).
The Harwich Farmers Market features locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs. You’ll also find locally baked breads and pastries in addition to honey, meats, locally produced artisanal soaps, and other farm-related products.
In recent years, some of the vendors included Commodore Inn, Soul Jam, Seawind Meadows, Eldredge Farm, Garden Club of Harwich, Solar City, Wyndham Farms, Thyme after Thyme, Not Enough Acres Farms, Salty Soaps, Monopati, Sabati Flower Farm, Great Cape Baking, Farmer Willie’s Ginger Beer and more.
The market is sponsored by Cape Cod Five, The Cape and Islands Farm Bureau, The Harwich Historical Society, The Cape Cod Extension, and Harwich Ag Com.
The museum is open during market hours and on some days, there is live music.
