Foxborough celebrates its heritage with Founders Day this year on Saturday, June 8. The event features a parade, a doll carriage parade, a vendor fair, fireworks and much more.

The parade kicks off at 10:00 am from Central Street and winds through town until it reaches Booth Playground. The parade features marching bands, floats, antique cars, fire trucks and more. The Doll Carriage Parade begins at 1:00 pm at the playground. There will be prizes for several age categories. The vendor fair features commercial vendors selling a wide range of items, food vendors, and non-profit group displays.

Foxborough Founders Day Schedule for 2017:

  • 7-9:00 am: Booth Field setup
  • 8:30-9:30 am: Parade lineup at 132 Central Street
  • 10:00 am: Parade starts, Central to Common, Mechanic, Railroad Ave, Bird, South to Booth Playground
  • 11:00 am-4:00 pm: Booth Playground Activities, food vendors, vendor booths, raffles, crafts, games, Fire Department touch a truck, basketball, in-line hockey, live music
  • 12:30: Parade awards ceremony
  • 6:30 to dusk: Tethered hot air balloon rides
  • 7:00-9:00: Concert
  • 8:45: Raffle Drawings
  • 9:00: Fireworks

Bellingham will celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks display on July 4. The event will be held at Bellingham High School on Blackstone Street at the athletic fields.
