MA Events - Founders Day

Norton celebrates summer with an annual community picnic and fireworks for Founders Day. The community will host the event this year on Saturday, June 16. The festivities begin at 5:00 pm at Henri A. Yelle School Field. The fireworks are scheduled to begin about 9:10 pm.

Founder’s Day features a car show, a petting zoo, a blueberry pie eating contest, field games for the kids, a food court with local food vendors, dance, live music, fire department demonstrations, police department demonstrations, pony rides, petting zoo, local bands, DJ’s, a bounce house, arts and crafts, cotton candy, popcorn and kiddie train rides.

Visitors are welcome to bring blankets, chairs, and coolers of food. Pets, grills, wine, beer, and spirits are not allowed.
