Cape Symphony presents Swingin’ into the 60’s on Saturday and Sunday, February 18 and 19, 2017 at the Barnstable High School Performing Arts Center in Hyannis. This concert features guest artists Five by Design and conductor Jung-Ho Pak leading the Cape Symphony. The concert features the songs of the 1960’s.

There are two performances on Saturday. There is one at 3:00 pm and another at 7:30 pm. On Sunday, there is one performance only. It is at 3:00 pm.

It’s the era of cool, as beautifully captured in the hit TV show, Mad Men. Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darren… they sang great songs that defined one of the best moments in American music. We welcome back Five by Design, who are returning after their smash hit swing show, Radio Days. This brand new show features the hits of the late 50’s and 60’s on radio, TV, and the movies. Travel back with the symphony as they lovingly recreate the world when martinis were dry and red lipstick was wet.
