Hanover Fireworks 2019
Hanover will not be staging a fireworks display in conjunction with Hanover Days this year. The community is working on getting everything ready to bring them back in 2019. The vendor fair and the main stage events are also canceled for this year.
Hanover celebrates the fourth in a big way over several days. The full range of events is detailed on our main Hanover Day(s) 4th of July page. The fireworks are preceded and followed by a long night of free community concerts that begin at 6:00 pm. The fireworks are scheduled to start at about 9:15 pm.
Hanover Day features an art show with an awards presentation, a visit from New England Patriots Champion Safety Duron Harmon, a basketball tournament, train rides, a three-day carnival, a 5K race, a kids fun run, clowns, face painting, a magician, bounce houses, 4H animal demonstrations, non-profit displays, a photo booth, a dunk tank, a 50/50 raffle, a historic photo exhibit, a artisan craft fair, a vendor fair, free concerts and live performances on two different stages, a talent competition and of course, fireworks.
The fireworks are preceded and followed by a long night of free community concerts that begin at 6:00 pm. The fireworks are scheduled to start at about 9:15 pm. The fireworks show is staged at Sylvester Field, aka B. Everett Hall Field. It is located on Hanover Street.
