Lowell will celebrate the fourth with a full night of music, fun, and fireworks on July 4. The event will be held at Edward LeLacheur Park on Aiken Street. The park opens at 6:00 pm and the fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:00 pm.
The event features face painting, balloon animals, train rides, bounce houses, an obstacle course, speed pitch, a game hut, Jumping Jack Flash, a giant slide, The Lowell Spinners Baseball team mascots, music, videos, and fireworks.
There will be refreshments available at the park’s concessions stands. You’ll find hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, and more.
There will be 5,000 seats available inside the stadium to watch the fireworks. Other places to watch the show are the River Walk from Lawrence Mills to the Universty Avenue Bridge and the St. Louis Field across the river in Centralville.
