Lynn will celebrate the fourth with concerts and fireworks on July 3. The event will be held at Red Rock Park on Lynn Shore Drive. There will be live music starting at 7:00 pm.
The fireworks are scheduled to start at about 9:00 pm. Vendors will be allowed to sell items along Shore Drive, but they will need to get a permit from the city.
Swampscott and Lynn coordinate with each other and share their fireworks display. According to the Swampscott Police Department, the best places to watch the show are along Monument Avenue in Swampscott or Kings Beach in Lynn.
The rain date for this year has not been determined yet, but it will be announced on Twitter and on the city website. Be sure and go there for the latest information and cancellation updates. If the fireworks are going to be canceled due to inclement weather, the announcement will be made by 7:00 am on the morning of the show.
