Massachusetts Fireworks: Unusual Green and yellow

Martha’s Vineyard Fireworks

Martha’s Vineyard stages a fireworks display over Edgartown Harbor as a fitting climax to a full day of small-town American fun to celebrate Independence Day. The fireworks should start at dusk, at about 9:00 pm. Admission is free. The fireworks are organized and paid for by the town of Edgartown.

The fireworks are staged on a barge that is positioned just outside of Edgartown harbor. I assume that anyplace along the harbor is a good place to view the fireworks. I would also guess from some of the photos that I have seen that Lighthouse Beach would also be a great spot to watch and photograph the show. I am still researching this and I will update this post as we get closer to the fourth.

MV celebrates the fourth with an afternoon and night full of all-American events in Edgartown. The day begins in the late afternoon with a barbecue and a parade.
