New Bedford Fireworks
New Bedford will celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks display over New Bedford Harbor on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. The fireworks will be staged from a barge at State Pier at 9:00 pm. According to Destination New Bedford, the best place to watch the fireworks is from piers downtown and in the historic district. Lower Union Street, west of Water Street will be closed to cars. It should be the ideal place to watch the show.
The State Pier will not be accessible during the fireworks.
