Orleans celebrates the 4th of July with a fireworks display on Sunday, July 1, and a patriotic parade on Wednesday, July 4. The fireworks begin about 8:30 to 9:15 pm.
You can view the show from the waterfront near Rock Harbor on Bay View Drive, at Skaket Beach, the other side of Rock Harbor at Dyer Prince Road in Eastham, Boat Meadow Landing in Eastham or at Linnell Landing Beach in Brewster.
You can find parking at Orleans Middle School, Main Street and Old Colony Way. If you park downtown, it will take you about half an hour to get to the beach to watch the fireworks up close. There is also a public parking lot at Skaket Beach.
The rain date for the fireworks will be on July 5.
