Walpole Parade & Fireworks
Walpole celebrates Independence Day the night before the fourth. This year the fun begins at 6:00 pm with the Walpole Fire Engine Parade. The parade kicks off at the East Walpole Fire Station, across from St. Mary’s Church on Washington Street and winds through town until it reaches the fire station on Stone Street.
A community fair begins in this location at the end of the parade. You’ll find live music, refreshments, and souvenirs.
The night comes to a close with a fireworks display. The show is staged in the area of the center pool on School Street. Anywhere in the center is a good place to watch the show.
For more information on the festivities, see the police department website.
