Wilmington celebrates the fourth with four days of festivities and a fireworks display on Monday, July 2. The larger Wilmington celebration (see our main July 4th in Wilmington page) is called Fun on the Fourth. It features a carnival, a Rotary Club Dinner, a free movie, games, contests, concerts, a Masonic Lodge Dinner, a doll carriage and bike parade, and Knights of Columbus Breakfast.
The celebration will start at 7:30 pm. The Windham Community Band will be in concert and feature a program of patriotic favorites, leading up to the fireworks spectacular at 9:30.
For more information, you can check out the fun on the 4th site.
The rain date for the fireworks is July 3.
