Free Thanksgiving Dinners on Cape Cod

Here’s a list of places that you can go tomorrow for a free Thanksgiving dinner on Cape Cod. Be sure and call the organizer before you go. You want to be sure that they are still serving and that they can accommodate you.

We will be adding some more organizations to this list later today and tonight.

Cataumet Methodist Church, Bourne

The Cataumet Methodist Church is hosting their 8th annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 24, 2016. The dinner starts at 12:00 noon and ends at 2:00 p.m. The dinner is open to all members of the community at no charge. There are take-out meals available also. Yarmouth Moose Lodge, Yarmouth

The lodge is hosting a Community Thanksgiving on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm with all the fixings. Everyone is welcome to share a great meal put on by their dedicated member volunteers and share the holiday tradition with at the lodge. This event is open to all members of the community that do not have the opportunity to host or share Thanksgiving dinner with someone else. Call (508) 394-2341 or see their website.

Orleans-Eastham Elks Lodge

The Orleans-Eastham Elks Lodge is hosting a free Thanksgiving Dinner for the entire community on Thursday. The hours of the event are from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. Hyannis Salvation Army

The Salvation Army in Hyannis is serving Thanksgiving Dinner for anyone and everyone that shows up tomorrow.

The hours of the event are from 11:30 am to 12:15 am. Those times are the center’s regular hours for serving lunch. The center is located at 100 North Street in Hyannis. Call 508-775-0364 for more information or see their website.

John Wesley United Methodist Church, Falmouth

The Free Falmouth Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner is open to everyone. It opens at 12:00 noon and runs till 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 24, 2016. There is no cost for the dinner, but everyone is asked to bring a donation of can goods for the Falmouth Service Center. Monetary donations can be made to the Falmouth Service Center at PO Box 208, Falmouth, MA 02540. The church is located at 270 Gifford Street. Some meals can be delivered for shuts-ins with prior arrangement. For delivery call Sue at Falmouth Human Services at 508-548-0533, extension 10 by Tuesday, November 21, 2016. Buzzards Bay Eagles Club

The Buzzards Bay Eagles have been serving Thanksgiving dinners to the community now for nine years. The dinner is run by local volunteers and it takes of lot of them to pull off this event. A few years ago they carved 24 turkeys for 214 dinners. The dinner is free. Reservations for more than two people are recommended and donations are accepted by contributions are NOT mandatory.
